Acetal (POM): Ultraform®

A line of acetal polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer products under the tradename Ultraform® are available from BASF. The Ultraform acetal product range comprises versatile engineering plastics having varied properties designed for use in exacting components capable of withstanding high stresses. The Ultraform acetal grades fulfill the demands imposed on an engineering material in especially high measure. They combine high rigidity with mechanical strength and afford good elastic properties, high toughness, dimensional stability and excellent sliding friction properties.

Special mention should be made of the chemical resistance of Ultraform® acetal, particularly with respect to conventional grades of gasoline (even those containing methanol and ethanol) as well as to diesel fuels (also biodiesel).

	Ultraform® H 2320 006 UNC Q600 Ultraform H 2320 006 UNC Q600 is a POM with high molecular weight grade for injection molding.
	Ultraform® H 4320 UNC Q600 Ultraform H 4320 UNC Q600 is an extrusion POM high molecular weight grade. This grade enables high extrusion rates with thick-walled product. It also exhibits high thermal stability and a low tendency to discolor.
	Ultraform® N 2200 G53 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2200 G53 UNC Q600 is a 25% glass fiber reinforced POM injection molding grade with enhanced stiffness and toughness.
	Ultraform® N 2310 P Q600 Ultraform N 2310 P Q600 is a general-purpose injection molding POM grade containing special lubricant. Low frictional coefficient giving extremely low wear with otherwise unaltered mechanical properties.
	Ultraform® N 2320 003 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2320 003 UNC Q600 is a rapidly freezing general-purpose injection-molding POM grade. It contains a mold release agent.
	Ultraform® N 2320 C BK120 Q600 Ultraform N 2320 C BK120 Q600 is a pigmented black, Electro Statically Dissipative (ESD) POM for injection molding applications.
	Ultraform® N 2320 U017 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2320 U017 UNC Q600 is a rapidly freezing UV stabilized general-purpose injection molding grade.
	Ultraform® N 2320 U03 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2320 U03 UNC Q600 is a rapidly freezing UV stabilized general-purpose injection molding grade.
	Ultraform® N 2640 Z2 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2640 Z2 UNC Q600 is an elastomer-modified injection molding POM grade with high impact strength.
	Ultraform® N 2640 Z4 BK140 Q600 Ultraform N 2640 Z4 BK140 Q600 is a pigmented black, high toughness, elastomer-modified injection molding POM grade.
	Ultraform® N 2640 Z4 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2640 Z4 UNC Q600 is a high toughness, elastomer-modified injection molding POM grade.
	Ultraform® N 2640 Z6 UNC Ultraform N 2640 Z6 UNC is an elastomer-modified injection molding POM grade with excellent impact strength.
	Ultraform® N 2720 M210 UNC Q600 Ultraform N 2720 M210 UNC Q600 is a 10% mineral filled injection molding POM grade for low-warpage parts with enhanced stiffness, strength and hardness.
	Ultraform® S 1320 0021 UNC Ultraform S 1320 0021 UNC is an easy flowing, rapidly freezing injection molding POM grade with enhanced stiffness and heat distortion resistance. It is highly stabilized to resist aggressive fuels, including hot diesel fuel.
	Ultraform® S 2320 003 UNC Q600 Ultraform S 2320 003 UNC Q600 is an easy flowing and rapidly freezing injection molding POM grade. Contains a mold release agent.
	Ultraform® W 2320 003 BK120 Q600 Ultraform W 2320 003 BK120 Q600 is a pigmented black, very easy flowing and rapidly solidifying injection molding POM grade for use where processing is extremely difficult but mechanical properties are lower. Contains a mold release agent.
	Ultraform® W 2320 003 UNC Q600 Ultraform W 2320 003 UNC Q600 is a very easy flowing and rapidly solidifying injection molding POM grade for use where processing is extremely difficult but mechanical properties are lower. Contains a mold release agent.
