Styropor® BFL Expandable Polystyrene

Styropor BFL product is modified expandable polystyrene (EPS) containing approximately 3.5 wt% pentane as the blowing agent; a more "earth friendly" low volatile EPS product. BFL products include BFL 222, BFL 322, BFL 327 and BFL 422. Styropor BF expandable polystyrene products can be used in a wide variety of applications including blocks for panels, general insulation, below grade use, fabrication, flotation and general packaging. Additional applications include insulated concrete forms and thin walled custom molding. Styropor BF products are compatible with many anti-stat, mineral oil and color additives added during processing. Styropor BF products are packaged in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers of 2,204 lbs. (1,000 kg's.). Plastic liners are used to maintain product shelf life by retaining the blowing agent.
