Styrolux® Thermoplastic Copolymers

Styrolux® thermoplastic copolymers are a range of thermoplastic styrene-butadiene copolymers (SBC) from BASF. One of the outstanding characteristics of Styrolux® thermoplastic copolymers is their combination of high transparency, brilliance and impact resistance. The good miscibility of Styrolux® and polystyrene allows adjustment to the desired toughness, while at the same time reducing material costs. Styrolux® can be extruded, thermoformed and injection molded into a variety of high-quality products.

	Styrolux 3G33 Styrolux 3G33 is a thermoplastic styrene-butadiene block copolymer which is suitable for injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming. It offers an outstanding combination of crystal clarity and good toughness.
	Styrolux 3G46 Styrolux 3G46 is a thermoplastic styrene-butadiene block copolymer which is suitable for injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming. It offers an outstanding combination of crystal clarity and good toughness.
	Styrolux 3G55 Styrolux 3G55 is a thermoplastic styrene-butadiene block copolymer which is suitable for film and sheet extrusion, and thermoforming. It offers and outstanding combination of crystal clarity and excellent toughness. It was designed to provide greater GPPS acceptance than conventional grades.
	Styrolux 656C Styrolux 656C is a high flow thermoplastic injection molding styrene-butadiene block copolymer. It has crystal clarity, good toughness, good stiffness, and warpage resistance for general molding applications. It is also suitable for extrusion and thermoforming applications.
	Styrolux 684D Styrolux 684D is a thermoplastic styrene-butadiene block copolymer which is suitable for injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming. It offers an outstanding combination of crystal clarity and good toughness.
	Styrolux HS 70 Styrolux HS 70 is a clear styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBC) developed specifically for shrink sleeve label applications. Styrolux® HS 70 offers high ultimate shrinkage during processing, yet maintains very low shrinkage under typical storage conditions. It offers good toughness, high gloss, and excellent clarity. Because of its lower density, HS 70 provides better yield than other high shrinkage materials currently available in the market.
