History is filled with innovations in plastics and BASF wants to continue that tradition by offering an opportunity to participate in our design competition. What will the future bring in terms of the following megatrends - health, mobility, transportation, construction, energy, sustainability? How can the following new products from BASF's Engineering Plastics Business be used to answer that question? Take the challenge and see where your imagination and innovation can take you!

University Eligibility - current student (undergraduate or graduate) at an accredited university or faculty member
Industrial Eligibility - everyone that does not fall into the university category

First, Second and third place prizes will be given in the University and Industrial categories (if there are sufficient entrants)

1. First place winner receives an engraved iPad, a model of their design (may not be to scale), press recognition, and either a $2500 cash prize or a donation to their charity of choice for $2500
2. Second place winner receives an award and either a $1500 cash prize or a donation to their charity of choice for $1500
3. Third place winner receives an award and either a $1000 cash prize or a donation to their charity of choice for $1000
